1. Usahihi wa hali ya juu: Kidhibiti cha kidijitali kinaweza kufikia udhibiti wa usahihi wa hali ya juu wa upunguzaji kupitia udhibiti wa kidijitali, kwa kawaida kufikia usahihi wa 0.1dB au chini ya hapo.
2. Broadband: Vipunguza sauti vya kidijitali kwa kawaida hufanya kazi katika masafa ya GHz au hata THz na vina kipimo data kikubwa.
