    Kidhibiti Kinachodhibitiwa na Dijiti ni kijenzi cha microwave ambacho kinaweza kudhibiti kiwango cha upunguzaji kupitia mawimbi ya dijitali.

    Kanuni ya utekelezaji wake ni kudhibiti kupungua kwa ishara kwa kurekebisha hali ya sehemu ya ndani au ukubwa wa ishara ya pembejeo, kubadilisha thamani ya upinzani.Ikilinganishwa na vidhibiti vya kitamaduni vya mitambo na vipinga tofauti.

    Vidhibiti vinavyodhibitiwa na dijiti vina faida zifuatazo:

    1. Usahihi wa hali ya juu: Kidhibiti cha udhibiti wa kidijitali kinaweza kufikia udhibiti wa usahihi wa hali ya juu wa upunguzaji kupitia udhibiti wa dijiti, kwa kawaida kufikia usahihi wa 0.1dB au chini yake.
    2. Broadband: Vidhibiti vinavyodhibitiwa na dijiti kwa kawaida hufanya kazi katika masafa ya GHz au hata THz na huwa na kipimo data kikubwa.
